Zoo Tycoon is a fun strategy game from Microsoft where you get to be the creator and manager of your own zoo. This version, Zoo Tycoon 2 Extinct Animals, is an expansion that allows you to do something really wild in your zoo, filling it with animals that have long been extinct from our planet. Anyone who thought the idea of Jurassic Park was cool should at least give this a try. This download is for a demo version of Zoo Tycoon 2 Extinct Animals.
In Zoo Tycoon 2 Extinct Animals, you’ll start by experimenting in a genetics laboratory on fossils in an attempt to recreate different extinct species, from mastodons to dodo birds to, of course, lots of different kinds of dinosaurs. But first, you’ll have to find the fossils so you have something to work with and get the animals’ DNA.
Once you have created your first creatures in Zoo Tycoon 2 Extinct Animals, you will have to introduce them to their new habitats in your zoo, feed them and make sure they are healthy and safe. The more animals you have, the more complicated things get. The variety of species is broad and will satisfy those who love biology and archaeology; however, the game environment is overly simple in terms of graphics.
